The Crown is currently offering two immigration programmes...

Charter Citizenship Programme  The Charter Citizenship programme is available to persons seeking citizenship in The Principality of New Utopia. Persons seeking citizenship who believe in the ideals of The Principality are invited to make a donation to the Royal Revenue. This funding will be used in part to assist in paying for the enormous expense of setting up the state. Whilst many aspects (such as construction) are being privately funded, other aspects, normally dependant on excise, leasing, licensing, etc. and other Crown revenue are not available in the pre-construction phase. Contributions help fund the project and form a demonstration of commitment. See the Citizens page for further details. Funds are payable to the PNU via the relevant Consulate office. The PNU will send a passport and citizenship documents to those who qualify for charter citizenship status. Charter citizens will automatically become full citizens at the moment that the first surface land area is completed. Charter citizens may also register their spouse and children for an additional fee of £25.00 per person to cover additional administration costs.

Distinguished Persons Citizenship Programme   The Crown will consider grants of charter citizenship (see above) for persons whose presence in The Principality will contribute immeasurably to prestige or well-being of The Principality. Requests will be assessed on an individual basis. In order to qualify, the applicant must agree to make The Principality their official country of residence and agree to hold residential real-estate in The PNU. The spouse and children of persons under this programme will also be accepted under the same application, if successful.

Replacement Passports and First Passports    Citizens requiring a replacement passport should contact their local Consulate office.  Parents of new-born children should register their children using the `Register a New Birth or Adoption´ form available upon request. If a `Certificate of Citizenship´ has been granted, and a copy has been received, the parents may use this form to apply for a `First Passport´. A fee of £25.00 is levied for processing of a First Passport. Please contact your local consulate if you have any difficulties. Contact local consulate.
